ABOUT 

Kaylie Lai is a student studying Cognitive Science and Design at the University of California, San Diego. She grew up loving cartoons, which ended up inspiring her to explore design through childhood moments spent doodling with her dad.

 

Simple sketches and recognizable characters, like Mickey Mouse's iconic three circle silhouette, sparked her love for visual storytelling. As she grew older, that curiosity evolved into a passion for creating experiences that feel heartfelt and intuitive.

 

Today, she blends creativity with cognitive science to design products that are not only functional but also aesthetic, always driven by the goal of making everyday interactions feel a little easier (and a little more magical)!

Outside of design, Kaylie likes to blow her funds on different brands of macaroni and cheese and add to her collection of over 100 stuffed animals.
